Ebru Paper Marbling with Studio 'N The Round
Saturday, March 24th, 2-5 pm
Sign up to learn the 15th Century Turkish decorative technique called Ebru or “Cloud Paper."
We'll float pigments atop liquid seaweed, use combs, rakes, and other tools to manipulate the pattern in our vats, and capture our designs on various papers.
Students will take home marbled papers and be introduced to the history,
recipes, and best practices of Ebru.
Soap Making Workshop with Mara Estes & Tara Quackenbush
Saturday, April 7th, 1-2:30 pm
Come discover how to make your own cold-process herbal soaps, and learn more about
the properties of carrier oils, essential oils, and herbs. Tara & Mara will lead us through the steps one by one, so we can safely and easily make soap at home.
Materials lists, recipes, and resources will be provided, along with three bars of freshly-made soap, and instructions for how to cure them.
Hand-tied Bouquet Workshop with Flower Scout
Saturday, April 14th, 1-3 pm
Learn Colie's technique for making a lavish hand-tied bouquet, utilizing branches, grasses, dried and fresh florals.
Wrapped in pretty paper or dropped into a vase, these bouquets make beautiful gifts for yourself or a loved one.
Vintage Pop-up Market with Supply Club
Sunday, April 15th, 12-4 pm
Supply Club is a brand new vintage clothing and housewares retailer in Troy, NY, run
by Samantha Sonnier. Generally available online via Instagram, this event is a special
chance to check out Supply Club's wares in person, try them on, and take
them home with you right away.
Come between 12 and 4 to check out Sam's wares and have a glass of rose with us.
